Meet Andres
Hello! My name is Andres Tinoco, I have been in the real estate world since my sophomore year at the University of Florida back in 2005. While studying engineering, I began working as a leasing agent in the student community where I lived. There, I quickly found out that I might be better at talking to people and solving their needs than solving differential equations! I became a leasing manager, then an interim manager, and then a traveling manager for a REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust). There, I specialized in New Community Lease-Ups of all kinds of commercial multifamily housing – from Luxury Student Housing to Low Income Housing – Tax Credit, and Section 8 Communities. But Something was Missing.
In 2014 I packed my things I moved back to Miami to be closer to my family and friends. I obtained a Community Association Manager’s License and began managing Home Owner Associations including Coronado at Doral and Doral Isles, and then Luxury High Rise Condos including One Miami and Eloquence on the Bay. However, something was still missing.
There I realized 2 things: 1) How easily a community association could be paralyzed by a bad Board of Directors and 2) how poorly the little real estate agents that sold homes/ condos within my communities actually knew about what they were selling. I witnessed so many agents peddle a condominium without even knowing if the condo was properly budgeted for, or if a special assessment was right down the road. I saw others makeup amenities or services I knew my building didn’t have or assure the buyer that there would “never be a special assessment”.
Then, one day, after a board of directors meeting, one of the directors confided how he was a little upset about “having to buy a yacht”!! I laughed and told him that I didn’t think that was the worst position to be in. He then told me that the reason he had to buy the boat was because if he didn’t, he would have to pay the equivalent amount in taxes. My mind was blown. I asked him how he managed to obtain his wealth.
I’ll never forget the next words that came out of his mouth. “You have to get on the side of Equity” and he recommended I read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki.,
Within a week of reading Robert’s book, I resolved to quit my 9-5 job and make my living by helping people intelligently invest in condominiums and other real estate, and of course get myself “on the side of equity”.
Fast forward 5 years later, and my partner and I have helped hundreds of people achieve The American Dream in Miami and Tampa, we have investor friends all over the state and own 5 income-producing properties in South Florida, Englewood, and Tampa Bay.
Currently, we are working helping people acquire properties that match their lifestyle and goals. Whether that means buying a good condo, single family home, or even an income-producing property. Privately, we are looking to acquire a small to medium sized apartment community with a value-add component.
We hope that you are one of the families and/or individuals we get to help achieve your real estate / investing goals in our journey on this earth.
Looking forward to hearing from you…
